The Great Stour Way is a nice flat ride, Richard, but it runs close to the river in some parts and some parts are a bit deep. It's good if the kids are in a trailer or on trailer bikes though. L & O might like simply cycling up and down the avenue in Dane John? It's nice and flat and if they tire out, there's the castle to play in.

Canterbury Cycle Centre on Stour Street. An independent shop with a solid selection and a very reliable repair service. Personally I have found them to be more knowledgeable than bike tart.
