Hi the Westgate Hall is a great venue right in the centre of Canterbury and next to the Pound Lane Car Park. Please email me jo@westgatehall.org and david@westgatehall.org and one of us will come back to you or call 01227634886 we have a kitchen and cafe, breakout meeting rooms etc.
Charlotte W. replied:
Hi Philip. The Night Yard just on the outskirts of Canterbury (with good road links and bus route) can accommodate 70 people. The room has disabled access, a kitchenette area, wifi, private smaller room and over looks the central grass courtyard. There is also parking for 70 cars. My email is info@thenightyard.com if you would like further information or we can check availability. Charlotte.

Try the hall at St. Peter's Methodist Church on the high street. It's relatively cheap for a city centre venue and it can easily hold 70 people for a workshop:http://www.canterburymethodistchurch.co.uk/cstaff

South East Dog Rescue are a very small charity, run by a woman and her young daughter, they were broken into recently and I know that they're trying to rebuild their centre. They don't have the huge charity campaign that Dogs Trust or RSPCA have and I know they'd be over the moon xx
