I did se a notice about Nationel express do a coach to gatwick airport from Canterbury bus station......I saw the notice about 3 weeks ago....if that helps....

Wow thanks everyone - what a great response. I didn't know about National Express going directly to Gatwick - last time I looked it was via London only. I'll check their times first and if they are good you couldn't beat that for price. Will check the Groupon as well. And thanks for the taxi company recommendations too
