Does anyone remember the PURPLE COW restaurant in downtown Canton? I just learned my grandpa was a chef there, at one time.
Don C. replied:
Menu from the Purple Cow. Apparently, it was a chain of restaurants, located in hotels. This one was inside the old Belden Hotel on Market. http://www.restaurantwarecollectors.com/forums/imagehosting/12434 a2 b5856 a0 ba0.jpg

Shy Cellars is the best place to eat if you want quality food. But it is not for the person looking for affordability. They only cater to those who truly have a gourmet palate plus they offer only 3 entrees each day but their antipasto board is amazing!!
Jerad K. replied:
Exactly Ryan Miller. The experience and service is just as important. I am not born to live here.

does anyone remember the Pines restaurant, between North Canton and Canton? Had my rehearsal dinner there in 78
Michelle M. replied:
Hi Bob! It's Michelle from Chateau Michele. I'm freinds with Brandon Mullen and owner of Chateau Michele. We bought it in 1991 and are doing banquets.
Karen B. replied:
I remember the Pines...had THE best cinnamon rolls. It served full course meals with choices of appetizer, salad (Waldorf was one of the choices, mmmm), main course, and desert. Delicious!
Karen B. replied:
It was owned by Jim Selby. I don"t think the Dipetro"s ever owned it. Maybe your thinking of the Skyland Pines on Columbus Rd. Not The Pines Restaurant on 44 th Street.
