Gawie De Villiers is a great guy...I would seriously recommend looking into the removal technique. There is technology called Cobaltion which has been proven clinically to reduce post op pain and bleeding - read up for yourself on Google, but I would insist on it especially for an adult tonsillectomy.

Hi I had it on my eyelid. Dr Andre de Greeff Plastic Surgeon did mine. Unfortunately he now in Canada. A third of my eyelid was removed. Dr. Left a V in eyelid which take months to grow together, if not it will form a point! There is no rush as BCC grows slow, more important to get a plastic surgeon who has done this before. And I have found a specialist hospital that have a whole team of specialists . It's not a normal veterinary hospital, a ll the top vets refer their cases to this specific place. People from all over SA go there. They really do perform miracle work and are actually very reasonable compare to other vets. My little boy had surgery there, and he can walk again.
