I love Cotts, Expensive but worth it, VERY professional and friendly. James is lovely. I use B&W for routine things, I recently had to have a couple of operations on my yearling and used B&W, they were fab but would only deal with David or Lee.

There is no shortage of equine vets in the area. Allen Brown from park vets has now set up on his own. Nick West as mentioned above has also gone on his own. There is BW Equine Lee Paul is very good and also Cotts Equine are now in this area too. Farriers Gavin Rees or the Rooneys. Dentists I tend to get my horses teeth done with their jabs so Allen Brown the vet does them.

Nick West-had him 25 yrs. But have used John from Cotts as an emergency. And have used Abbey Equine for pre-purchase vet check (Rod Fisher). They also vetted our horse many times at endurance rides. All good in my experience.

I originally used Allen Brown but as he works on his own (similar to Nick West) I ended up with a problem when I needed an emergency call out and he was not available so I had a choice to call either BW or Cotts. I phoned Cotts and John Edwards came out within 20 minutes. I would say he was absolutely brilliant. He is without doubt the most knowledgeable and efficient equine vet I have ever had. Their prices are very competitive too.

James Davies for us, bane was supper reactive even as a 4 month puppy! We have been correcting his behaviour with James now for almost a year and the difference is huge! Long slow process but you'll get there with who ever you choose:)
