Flower Mound schools are head and shoulders above Carrollton schools plus Flower Mound is a much nicer area.

Castle Hills is right next to Carrollton and is a very nice neighborhood to live in...great LISD schools (Hebron feeder pattern), an education trust to support those schools, nice shopping. Still think FM is the better place to live.

Some ammo...we moved from Carrollton to Flower Mound.... there is old Carrollton and better Carrollton but for us it didn't have the charm or the planned feel about it. We moved to find an HOA community.... tired of the unkept neighborhood and drug house that was down the street. Castle Hills is known for having foundation issues so buyer beware. Look at demographics. Higher Density of apartments.

Taxes are definately higher over there! I heard lots of issues over there also. Flower Mound is definately the "hot place" to live. I do mortgages and see people try to get homes in Flo Mo every day and can't because they sell in a New York minute!!!

Thanks, guys. We're empty nesters, so school quality does not affect us direcly, but we always look for that in terms of real estate values and I thik Flo Mo has some of the best.
