Can anyone recommend a dentist for an extremely nervous patient. I believe they need to accept NHS patients too. Thanks

Peter Walker & Associates is the only dentist in Faringdon and they are very good. They weren't accepting NHS when I registered there last year, might be different now though?

Carterton used to have a superb NHS dentist for nervous patients who unfortunately moved on. He was replaced with a very pleasant but newly qualified young lady who didn't inspire confidence in this nervous patient unfortunately. If you can stretch to private fees there is a chap in Swindon Old Town who gets rave reviews on a dental phobics support forum I've used in the past. I can't say I've had good experience of our town practice, unfortunately although I was already pretty dental phobic before registering with them. Good luck!

I've found dentalfearcentral.org useful in the past. I think most dentists want to manage nervous patients well, personally I've found that ones that actually do are few and far between.

Church Green dentist, Mr Patel in Witney, so calm and lovely with my 3 that I have stayed even tho we moved here, not sure if they're taking NHS tho
