I looked for this a while back and I ended up at Jem dental care who are in Harehills.They are really good and do NHS. I only had to wait two weeks to be able to sign up.Their reviews are excellent. I would avoid the dentist opposite the Barnbow pub and Malachs like the plague.

Theres the NHS Choices website which tells you which dentistsare taking on, and a ratings system. http://www.nhs.uk/Service-Search/Dentists/LocationSearch/3. I was shocked at how bad some of the reviews are.

Yeah that was at Malacks on Austhorpe Road, it wasnt them but another dentist. This was in around the year 2000 and I wasnt that up then in complaining. I would now have complained to the Health Professionals council and to the practice.

Can really recommend New Smile on Selby Road in Halton. The do NHS and private. Hard to get on their NHS list though

Oh god I've just gone on the waiting list for the one opposite Barnbow!! Moving from Holbeck (been with years Bergin Family Dental Practice) now been taken over by Genix due to Mr & Mrs Bergin retiring (amazing dentists) the new staff don't have the same family values and care and attention to detail as the Bergins so a move is needed. Need to find another now as going to take my name off the list for the one opposite Barnbow!!

Tony Thornton at Airedale Dental Practice- I used t work there n he's lovely. Me n kids stil go. Don't kno if they taking NHS- Caitlin in Isabelle class- her mum is receptionist there x

Ropergate Dental Practice are good in Pontefract, had no problems with them. Don't know if they are taking patients on but you could give them a call xxxx
