You might also ask Tim Wallace in Selma (Oregon Little Big Band). He may know of one. If T. Lund or Tim W know of one, you will find that bass clarinet. Good luck!

Linda, I rode in to Selma and checked out the 2 nd hand store and the horn was just sold for $100. Bummer... Try the big Pawn shop on 6 th St. In G.P.. ( I forgot their name) Also try Medford Pawn and Central Point Pawn. Both were always good for musical instruments. Use the phone, it beats driving there. Let me know how it goes. T... .

Hi Linda, Check with Great Northwest Music Company on G Street in Grants Pass. Owners name is Allen and they rent school instruments. It's a nice place. If not, call Cripple Creek Music in Ashland. Thank you Mr.Lund! I called Great Northwest Music and they don't carry bass clarinets. They did mention Cripple Creek Music. I will call them tomorrow and see what they have! Larry's music has all there bass clarinets rented out right now. Courtney has to check back with her band teacher to see if he has a bass clarinet.

Is Mr. McKee her teacher? When I retired there were 2 bass clarinets, at least 1 good alto clarinet, and a very nice contra-alto clarinet at the schools. Keep me in the loop, K? I've got other contacts I could make if you don't have any luck. BTW, is she responsible? These instruments are kinda delicate so she needs to be very responsible and take good care of it. I noticed another comment you received about an instrument in a 2 nd hand store in Selma. I'd be happy to check it out for you if you want. Let me know how I can help. And Linda, just call me "T".
