Anybody has kids in private schools? Can you provide feedback? Is it worth the extra cost or extra drive?

Holy Family is Blue Ribbon School and voted #1 private school for 2 consecutive years in Orlando. A Celebration teacher actually told us it was a great school to be sending our kids to and wrote an amazing letter of recommendation for my son. Windermere Prep is a good school but it does have its challenges like any other. We are not fans of common core and we have family members that are teachers/professors in Georgetown University, Johns Hopkins and Emery. That have help us understand the struggles of the current public system.

I just want to say, I attended celebration school from kindergarten till 6 th grade. From there I went to a private school called The Crenshaw School. It is located in the Gotha area. I graduated from there with very high grades and took many courses. The education was excellent and I wish I could still be there learning more. It is a smaller school, they don't have sports teams and stuff but it is excellent. I'm still friends with my teachers. My daughter is almost 4, and I am planning to drive her the 35 minutes there once she's in kindergarten. It's also not as pricey as the other private schools.

Does anyone have any Day Care suggestions for an infant in town? The Creation Kids Village is just too expensive.
Joe R. replied:
I agree with Melissa Griffith, and I have nothing but great things to say about the Foreign Language Immersion school. It runs about the same cost as others, but offers a great curriculum and great staff. We have used them for toddler thru Kindergarten. .... Learning Trails is also a great option, as we have used them for after school care and summer camp currently. They tend to be less expensive.
