Candidly if there is a leak in your air handler, it likely does need a new coil, which can be an expensive job. We use https://www.facebook.com/1377668822467602 Downtown Air and Heat. They have a 5 star rating on Yelp, and I can see why. They have been very honest, as well as take the time to explain everything they are going to do, or recommend should be done before surprising you with a bill. http://www.downtown-air.com/

I only trust Gerhard the A/C Man. (407) 932-8476. Went through 3 others all diagnosing system with repairs upward of $3 k. He fixed it for $800 and runs perfectly! Honest as the day is long and heck of a nice guy

Id recommend Western Air as well. They just replaced our entire system and did so quickly. From start of problem to copmplete install was 36 hours!!!!!!! The entire unit in and out. Techs were great and nice/polite. Also VERY reasonably priced for a Trane unit. If it goes that far for you, it wont break the bank
