I am trying to figure out how this went from a post about trash in the ditch to condemning a man who chooses to live different from the rest of us. Now, the public defecation is an issue if he in fact is doing it and I have no reason to doubt Becky Babin Henson eyewitness accounts nor do I want any photographic evidence she may still posses. But how did this digress to this point
Bobbie B. replied:
Allison, I wish I was able to help every poor person, even if their bad habits got them in this position, but I cannot. But on the other hand this is one of the main roads in Central, how long can we let him continue to use the yard for a toilet. I understand he has been there for a while but because of the road construction you can now see him better. He comes from a large Central family and they are all good people. I am sure they have done their best to help him but he has to want to help himself. At any rate I understand he is supposed to be gone within a couple of weeks

I would like to comment on the developer of comite hills was suppose to take pecos to joor road. After talking to Mrs Hodges the developer wife (since Mr Harry has passed on) today she states there was NEVER a plan to take pecos to joor rd because the landowner wouldn't sell the property and to say other wise is wrong!!! Now if this bridge was done right 9 months ago none of us would be discussing if comite hills If I am right Mr Greco voted for no connection since he lives right there
David B. replied:
Angela, both ends of Conestoga were developed as cul-de-sacs with lots on all sides so that that road could not be extended. Pecos was developed to end in a stub-out with no lot on the west side so that the roadway could be extended at some point in the future. Thats why there was no lot at the west end of it. That is standard Planning Commission design for future street extensions.

Terri..I emailed City-Parish to ask them about this since Sullivan is a Parish Rd. As could be expected, I got no response. Anyone doing work which requires a lane to be blocked is supposed to notify Traffic Engineering and request a lane closure form so that the public can be notified.
