Good morning! I wanted to reach out to my community for Orthodontist referrals. My almost 8 year old needs to see one.
Another note - I would need someone that does...
Leida B. replied:
We have been very happy with Dr. Patrick Aydt at Raintree Dental in Champlin. The bonus is that he is our regular dentist and does all of the orthodontic work for my son as well.
Tracie K. replied:
If you want to really save money go to the UofM Orthodontist! We got estimates from three places, the UofM ended up being a lot cheaper, we do not have any insurance so that was a factor, not always convenient but still works for us. http://www.dentistry.umn.edu/programs-admissions/advanced-programs/orthodontics/index.htm
Jeff O. replied:
Dr. Bill Becker in Anoka- our son has been with him since 8 years old and he has been fantastic. www.straightsmiles.net they are fantastic
Gretchen P. replied:
Dr. Pan in Brooklyn Park. Awesome, payment plans. We are soon to be on child two with braces.
Calvin D. replied:
Dr Mark at Accorde in Champlin!
Renee B. replied:
I love WOW Orthodontic, now Three Rivers. They are super friendly and the payments have been affordable.
Kristine W. replied:
I work at Accorde orthodontists in Champlin. We offer a free consultation. You and your child would meet with the Dr and a treatment coordinator. You would leave knowing the cost, how much of a down payment (if one is needed), what your insurance will cover and what your payment plan would be. Please give our office a call! (763) 315-0002.
Dee M. replied:
We also used Dr. Aydt at Raintree Dental. It was so much cheaper, they take most dental insurance plans, and we did a payment plan for the balance that insurance didn't cover.
Sher B. replied:
Dr. Mark@Accorde!
Lynda S. replied:
Dr Rensch Anoka. If you go to Accorde be sure to ask what the retainer fee is they do not include it in the estimate.
My daughter needs braces. Looking for recommendations to Orthodontists.
Also has anyone ever used Invisaline? Does it work? Is it cheaper than braces?
Thanks
Dee M. replied:
https://www.facebook.com/126283344092694Raintree Dental did braces on both my kids. My husband is doing Invisalign through them now. It was a lot cheaper than the quotes we got through local orthodontists.
Cassidy C. replied:
Invisalign is great but not everyone is qualified for it and when I did it 6 or 7 years ago it was 2 x the cost of regular. NORTHERN ORTHODONTICS in Fridley is great and better priced than most
Kooper K. replied:
Twin Cities Dental in Champlin by Target! They do a great job!
Melissa M. replied:
Dental Specialists in Maple Grove.
Matt L. replied:
I did Invisalign. I went to https://www.facebook.com/323998387635592Twin Cities Dental next to Target. I do believe it's less expensive than Braces. They also have a Groupon for $3000 off Invisalign. I'd check them out! The service was great, my teeth look awesome and they have a guarantee to backup their work! I've recommended them to a few of my clients and friends and they were impressed with the results.
Jen C. replied:
Raintree Dental in Dayton saved us over $2,000 vs Accorde's prices. Doctor Aydt is great! The hours are very flexible as well. No missing school!
Kristy L. replied:
Dr. Rensch is the bomb!! http://www.straightsmiles.net/
Anyone have feedback on Accord orthodontist? We are looking at braces and our referral was to Accord. Thoughts or recommendations?
Traci G. replied:
Dr. Rodger Droel at A+ orthodontics. I did several consultations and he was the most trust worthy and least expensive! 4 locations! 763.862.2345 Tell them Traci sent you!
Calvin D. replied:
I go to Accorde! Dr Mark is excellent and everyone there gets to know you and your name! They greet and welcome you by name everyone! I highly recommend going there!
Elena T. replied:
Two of my kids have braces now and go there. Dr Hobday is awesome. Everybody there is wonderful.
Kristy L. replied:
Do you need a referral because of your insurance? If not, go see Dr. Rensch in Anoka. He's the bomb.
Jennifer L. replied:
U of M. Gopherbraces.com save huge. We saved $2000. Students do a better job because they want the best grade. Supervised
Beth R. replied:
Twin Cities Dental has better pricing! We did round 1 with Accord & round 2 with tcd. We appreciate the same level of service but a better price.
Mary E. replied:
Try Orthodontic Care Specialists in Brooklyn Park. Almost half the cost of Accord for the same treatment plan. They did a great job and have a huge coupon on their website for new patients.
I'm looking for recommendations for a good Orthodontist in the area. Thanks!
Dee M. replied:
Dr. Aydt at https://www.facebook.com/413794275493636Raintree Dental does braces for a lot less than other orthodontists.
Lynda S. replied:
Dr Rensch Anoka
Jennifer G. replied:
Dr Hobday, Accorde Orthodontists in Champlin.
Susan J. replied:
My daughter went to Dr. Rensch- he did fine work, but the office was horribly disorganized. We'd get there for an appt. and wait for hours. Hopefully it's better now. My son went to Dr. Dormanen when he was over by Cullen's. He was super fast and you were seen on time and out quickly. He was also very good. Looks like he has his office in Anoka, 2150 3 rd Ave. Suite 200.
Lynda S. replied:
My daughter is with Dr Rensch now we've been seen at Anoka Coon rapids and Andover and has not waited more than 5 min in 2 yrs so they must have changed something. A lot are good just make sure your quote includes it all, some in the area give you the quote and do not tell you the retainer is not included
Does anyone know of a good orthodontist? Preferably not so spendy! My dads a single parent and doesn't want to pay too much for them for my brother.
Lynda S. replied:
Dr Renschwww.straightsmiles.com
Kristy L. replied:
Yep...Dr. Rensch for the win!!
Megan S. replied:
I take my son to Dr Scott Kotteman at Kotteman Orthodontists in Maple Grove. They are great. We had a consult at Accorde and just didn't feel comfortable and they were really expense.
Lynda S. replied:
Kottemann is very expensive I had one child with him and things didn't go so good and now the 2 nd with Dr Rensch. Check around usually consults are free

Ginessa B. replied:
We LOVE Twin Cities Dental by Champlin. They have been great and not terribly expensive.
Best and most reasonably priced orthodontist in the area??
Dee M. replied:
https://www.facebook.com/126283344092694Raintree Dental does braces - normal and Invisalign. It's a lot cheaper than orthodontists, and you can do a payment plan for what insurance doesn't cover.
Kooper K. replied:
Twin Cities Dental by Target. Been with them for many years. They do Braces, Invisalign and regular dental work. Dr. Fehresti is amazing!
Alberta L. replied:
My two oldest grandchildren go to Twin Cities Dental. A third will go in May. We got a flyer in the mail that says it is $2,000 off on Invisalign or braces. Reg. $6,850 and $6,450, respectively.
Anyone have recommendations for an orthodontist that does a bonded wire on the back of teeth after braces? Mine came loose and my orthodontist is long retired. Willing...
Jennifer G. replied:
Accorde Orthodontists in Champlin.
Denis L. replied:
GREAT service available at the University of Minnesota Dental School. Here is their web site - http://www.dentalclinics.umn.edu/
Looking for a recommendation for an orthodontist in the area comfortable with kids. My 11 year old daughter will need braces in the coming year. Thank you.
Susan J. replied:
Our youngest went to Dr. Dormanan, but don't know if he's still in practice. It was the best run office I've encountered. If you had a 3 pm appt you were in at that time or before and out in quickly. Rarely had much of a wait. Dr. Rensch's office in Anoka I would sit and wait each time for 2 hrs. It was horrible. Nothing against him, but the wait stunk.
Can I get some opinions/recommendations on Orthodontists in the area?
I see in Champlin there is Accord and Wow ortho.
This is for a 9 year old child.
We do not have...
