Any recommendations for corporate party venues where we can do a bonfire and have catering and alcohol for ~80 people?

Sounds fun. Are you hiring? Edit: saw your username. If relevant, never mind.

I feel like you may have luck with farm wedding venues. Weekends will be expensive and more booked up, but if you want to do something on a weekday/evening you will probably have plenty of availability and get a good price. The bonfire may not be allowed at all of them, but I am sure some have firepits or can accommodate. For example, it looks like Merry Hill in Mebane has a firepit - [http://kivusandcamera.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/10/Bumgardner-Wedding-53-1024 x684.jpg](http://kivusandcamera.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/10/Bumgardner-Wedding-53-1024 x684.jpg)

Mitchell’s Catering & Events (on Capital BLVD) can provide a great catering experience, however they cannot provide a venue for a bonfire. I highly recommend their service, though.

Depending on your budget, Angus Barn MIGHT let you have a bonfire, but I know they'll cater a party and drinks.

You might have some luck with Honeysuckle Tea House out past Carrboro. Gorgeous piece of property and full alcohol license.

the Barn at Valhalla outside of Chapel Hill.

Maybe one of the wineries around? Id also ask some of the wedding venues, as they would do catering and alcohol, probably easy to get a bonfire setup and can easily handle that size

Might call City of Raleigh to ask about Anderson Point Park. Not sure it's perfect, but might check a few boxes. [https://www.raleighnc.gov/parks/content/ParksRec/Articles/Parks/AndersonPoint.html](https://www.raleighnc.gov/parks/content/ParksRec/Articles/Parks/AndersonPoint.html)

[Montague Lake](http://www.montaguelake.com/) is a popular option in Wake County (ignore that header image on the site, I don't know why they are using that, I promise it is not in Wyoming). 10305 Penny Rd, Raleigh, NC 27606
Hey everybody! I wish I didn't have to do this, but the hunt for the perfect reception venue has been unsuccessful so far. Sarah and I are wanting to reach out and hear...

If it isn't too big, my sister's coffee shop Caffe Driade has hosted smaller weddings on the lawn. I can put you in touch if you want more info. Not sure how she handles food catering, but she would want you to do wine/beer through her. That's good though, because you could get my French brother-in-law's wine! Authentique Vin Thomas Meunier By the way- CONGRATS!

Michelle Bank Denzler, where was your wedding? That was a nice outdoor place! I can't remember its name.

Excellent! Thanks for lining this up. My Mom is retired from Sun Trust may be able to provide some guidance on what type of account, etc. would be available with no fees, etc. There are also probably some online event hosting deal-e-o-s that would allow us to raise money, people use credit cards, etc. to streamline money collection. I have no experience with this...if you're interested in doing something like this, I can help research / support this. Also, if you need a little dinero to get the bank account started, I am happy to make a small contribution to the cause. Just let me know...these are things I can do from TX!
