Doggie daycare/kennel recommendations? Can anyone recommend someone/place that would be able to provide care and a large fenced in outdoor area for a hyper dog to burn...

We use Paws at Play, but it is in Wake Forest. They are awesome. We used to use Armadale for the vet and they were really nice. Never used their daycare service.

We use Dogtopia in north Raleigh. If your dog likes to play with others, it is a great place because the dogs have free play all day. Minus a two hour "nap" at lunchtime.

Where are you? It's out towards Cary, but I've personally volunteered at the Furry Feet Retreat quite a few times: http://www.furryfeetretreatofcary.com/ It's got a relatively large fenced in area, though your dog will have to share the space with other dogs.

We've been pleased with Dog Diggity Day Care on Ebenezer Church over by the Carmax on Glenwood. They're a really friendly bunch of people and take great care of my dog. You can go and ask for a tour anytime to see what the facility is like.

Check out [Best Friends](http://www.bestfriendspetcare.com/durham-nc/) in Durham. Their 1-on-1 attention programs and large runs have been pretty good to our equally anxious 80 lbs. mutt.

I've heard really fantastic things about Pinebrook Kennels and when I've talked to the owners about having my dog there, they were incredibly kind and helpful. Unfortunately they do not have a website, but here are the reviews: https://plus.google.com/114759353265652554761/about?gl=us&hl=en They are also very inexpensive. They don't have a doggy daycare, but for kennel stay they seem just a very down to earth homey place.

http://www.dogwoodvethospital.com/ in Chapel Hill area...they are also a vet so they provide those services as well. You do need to have an up-to-date fecal/heartworm test though (within 6 months). I personally use an in home pet sitter...two dogs and a cat would cost me a fortune for boarding longer than a week!
Dog daycare recommendations for an out-of-towner? Hey there, I'll be passing through Chapel Hill for a few hours a few Saturdays from now. I need to find a place where I...

Check out [Green Beagle Lodge](http://www.greenbeaglelodge.com/). My fiance and I take our dog here fairly often, and they are super friendly and helpful. And they will take into account any special requests you have. I think it's on the more expensive end of the doggy daycare spectrum though, not sure if cost is an issue here but that's something to consider too. There's also [Chapel Hill Pet Resort](http://www.chapelhillpetresortnc.com/), I'm not sure what it's like there but I've heard good things.

Try [Suite Paws](http://www.suitepaws.com/new-durham/) in Durham. They require all the stuff the other folks do: temperament test, shots. Great place!
Any recommendations for a doggy day care in Mebane or nearby?

Camp Bow Wow in Durham. They have video cameras, you can log in anytime and see what your furbaby is up to. Sunny Acres Pet Resort is another great place.
Any dog daycare and boarding facilities in the area?

I have used Bed & Bone on Jones Road in Mebane many times in the past and was extremely pleased. The first time I tried them was when I was deployed to Louisiana three days after hurricane Katrina hit. Ever since then my Jack Russell would go nuts in excitement when we would have to drop her off there. Clearly she loved it.

The place next to Mebane Veterinary on Jones is great from what I've heard. I also know a couple of people who do pet/house sitting if you're interested. They're honest, trustworthy, and have clean backgrounds. They also happen to be animal lovers. PM me for info.

There are NO doggie day cares in Mebane. There's quite a few places that do boarding and some pet sitters. Green Beagle Lodge in Chapel Hill is an AMAZING facility, that offers boarding and day care! I do home visits within the Mebane area.
