I would rank [Natty Heavy](http://www.nattyheavy.com/) as the best wedding DJ in town. His personality alone will add the perfect level of energy to your wedding. If he's booked, as another user said, DJ United is fantastic as well. Neither of those options will be cheap, but they'll certainly be worth it.

DJ Spotify or his cousin DJ iPod Shuffle are both pretty solid.

www.themusicmaker.org This is who I used for my wedding. He was great. Really friendly and kept up with the crowd. We gave him NO help at all with music except the obvious first dance picks. Other than that, he did his thing and it was great. The only obnoxious song that was played was the electric slide and that's because my mom asked for it. We met him at a bridal show. We only used him for a DJ, but I know he does more than just that.

Sounds like you need Birdflu & Jeff ET.

I've used Earl at the [dance doctors](http://www.thedancedoctors.com) for other events. He was a really nice guy to work with and was really fun at the event. Not sure pricing for a wedding, but it is worth shooting him an email for a quote. Good luck!

DJ United would prob be your best bet for a wedding and doesn't play the cheesy shit, but he charges ~1500-2 k a wedding. If you want a more clubish set with chill house music and tropical house at the beginning I could play it. I DJ under DJ Kevbo. I can def mix in all the tunes you provide and would do it for a reasonable price if I am not already booked that date. Feel free to PM me

Fort Sumpter is pretty sweet! We enjoyed drinks at the Mellow Mushroom. We enjoyed eating at Jestine's, kind of a dive of a place with great fried chicken. The Hominy grill is also fantastic!
Does anyone have any recommendations for a DJ in the Charleston area? Britni and I are still trying to find someone.
