Met this guy at a PetCo adoption event. He was there as a volunteer for the shelter sponsoring. James Beltram. Candlewood K-9 academy. 843 606 2002. I've been in dog training for years and was impressed with his knowledge. He's in the business. I am not. Give him a call.

I too have heard good things about James Beltram, especially with stronger breeds. And Purely Positive is always a thumbs up. If you want nonprofessional help, I've worked with many dogs over the years at Charleston Animal Society and beyond and would be happy to meet him/her and give you some pointers neighbor to neighbor.

I can second Charleston Dog Wizard. They were awesome with our hyperaggressive corgi.

Call John Smithart at K9 Good Manners. He trains military dogs, and his training is very comprehensive and intense. It's quite an investment, but your dog will come back transformed! food aggression would be a piece of cake for him. http://k9 goodmanners.com
Looking for dog training classes that I don't have to hand over my dog for couple of weeks. I want to participate in classes with her. Any recommendations?

I will second Charleston Dog Wizard. They did amazing with my pittie years ago. Their program works wonders if you are willing to put in the time with your pup outside of classes. I have their contact info/cell numbers if interested please let me know. By far the best money I have ever spent. My pup did a COMPLETE 180 and I couldn't be happier!
