Looking for a good band to play at the Emyvale Rec Centre summer fundraising dance on July 20th. Can anyone recommend a band that would be good for all ages.

Diane J. replied:
If I remember correctly, the name of the band is Burnt Toast. Great rock-jazzy music-extremely danceable. Saw them last summer upstairs at Old Triangle. All ages were up and dancing. I think they are an Island band.
Tracy S. replied:
Jason Rogerson may know how to contact Burnt Toast.
Daren D. replied:
Try Kirk MacKinnon (Ocean 100). He's part of the band ...
Does anyone have any advice on managing IT band pain? I've been foam rolling, icing and will be going to a physiotherapist asap. Just curious to hear about others'...
Billy M. replied:
I echo Rob's comment. I had success with focusing on hip mobility and strengthening the glutes and hip. Squats Weighted leg lifts (toe pointed down, neutral, and up) Hamstring curls etc... Google can help you identify specific exercises. Try them all, have a routine, and stay consistent with the exercises. Also, Yoga is a great exercise to open up the hips.
