I've really enjoyed the massages I've had at Poplar Creek right outside Chattanooga in Ooltewah recently. I've also had great ones at both Natural Body locations.

I go to Dr. Collins in north shore. They’re family people and really amazing. It’s as if you’re kin to them honestly.

You may want to look into shoe insoles and a chiropractor. Got some custom insoles that fit my feet prefectly and I don't have to visit the chiro anymore and my issues are gone.

Massage Envy at Hamilton Place mall. Ask for Elise, Valentina, Mary Lou, or Jacemyein. Those are some of their more clinical therapists

Massage is great. You might also consider getting an inversion table which can supplement your masseuse's routine. I swear by my inversion table, my low back brace, and kegel exercises (PM me for more details). Also, suspenders help if you currently rely upon a belt to keep your pants up (you shouldn't use a belt).

If you're looking for a great massage therapist, I can't recommend Misty highly enough - https://www.freestylebodywork.com/ Though like others said, a good chiropractor might be better long-term help. I've had good experiences at Total Health Chiropractic Downtown and Ft Oglethorpe.

Medlineplus.gov huh? I went through school for 8 years to get a doctoral medical degree and can assure you that medlineplus is not an acceptable source to cite research from. Your secondary description was quite a bit better. We need to change the culture of our medical field by decreasing fear and encouraging function and movement that is quality and safe

Try and get somebody to walk on your back. I never been to a massage house, usually a friend will do it.

But, the basic massage tx program each school offers is basically the same. You gain more expertise with continuing education in different modalities.
