Kathy gave me the name of Jackie Potts at Speech and Hearing in Cleveland at 614-4062 to give a call to. Perhaps if she is not able to provide service she can direct you to someone in the area who can. Thanks.
Connie F. replied:

My 4 year old will be starting pre-k in a Head Start program instead of public school pre-k because she isn't potty trained yet. Does anyone know if a speech therapist...
David P. replied:
https://www.ablenetinc.com Ablenet is a good resource that allows you to sample communication devices and apps. It's great because communication apps are outrageously expensive to buy just to have them not work for your child. We had to try a few to find the right one. I think they also help with funding.
Does anyone have a speech therapist that you absolutely LOVE that involves the parents in the therapy plan??
Kimberly H. replied:
Rob Burroughs at the Speech Language Reading Center!
Kim S. replied:
At Peds Plus The therapists will let you come back. Sometimes therapists don't have parents come back because the kids will sometimes work better or differently with the therapist alone. You may just need to ask. But if not give us a call at Peds Plus and we will work to get you scheduled smile emoticon
Rachel L. replied:
Highly recommend Peds Plus! We love you ladies!
Elizabeth T. replied:
Cathy Burris. She's at Stellar Therapy. I take my son to see her. Amazing! She tells me everything they've done, and even gives us projects to work on at home!!

Sara Powers Scott our current therapist takes him back from the waiting room, works with him, and brings him back. I have no idea what they have worked on during the session or what we can be working on at home. We would just like to know how we can continue working with him at home. Does that make sense?
April J. replied:

We see Dr Gargus at Siskin and everyone in their office is wonderful. The Costco is literally right off I-75 so it wouldn't be that long of a drive if you live close to the interstate. I am not too familiar with the Ooltewah area as I am originally fr om Florida, but there are several good restaurants downtown Chattanooga which also has a great Childrens Discovery Museum that does a lot of sensory events, and the Tennessee Aquarium...lots of things on the riverfront in the warmer months too. Good luck with your move and hope everything goes well.
Rachel S. replied:
WELCOME!! Dr. Tolosa, is also amazing. He is in with Dr. Screws! We love that office. Dr. Gargus is worth the wait. We do speech at the Chattanooga Speech and Hearing center on Holtzclow Ave. We also love to eat at Cheddars and Mellow Mushroom.
