Julie uses General Booth Pediatrics 668-6700, I have taken the boys there, and they are awesome, they have tweo offices in VA Beach. Highly recommend both. Both of these you will find in the zip 23454, mine and Julies is 23453.

Maureen J. replied:
So glad to have you guys back! I had to force my 21 year old to FINALLY change to a family practitioner.....Dr. Robert Fink has been his pediatrician forever and I can't say enough good things about him. The boys also used Dr. Mark Levin at Children's Dentistry & Orthodontics until they turned 18. Dr. Mark is awesome and I loved that the dentist/orthodontist were in one office.
Stacy B. replied:
I've tried multiple times to switch to someone closer, but Pediatric Specialists with Dr. Fink and more, is worth our trip to the VB/Norfolk line (across form Sentara Leigh). We've been there since they were born. Have heard great things about some down GN way, but they were mostly women, which is less preferred as they get older. Love Dr Paige Fazier at PS, our primary for years, now we see Fink or Gerbus.
Alright Facebook friends, I need pediatric dentist recommendations!

Desperately need a good pediatric dentist who will not insist on knocking my child out completely in office to fill a cavity
Katherine L. replied:
Cleveland Pediatric Dentistry
Katie C. replied:
Please don't go to Dr barto. He terrified me from the dentist! Couldn't go for over 10 years cause of him and now I'm dealing with tons in work. If you want respect, do not go to him. I'm not the only one either. Research it. Dr Richard has done amazing with my autistic daughter. Very fast and efficient and respectful.
Becca R. replied:
We use Dr Goins and love him! My 9 year old is autistic and they've been amazing with him! My 7 year old just gets the laughing gas for procedures although the 9 year old does hage to be knocked out for anything other than basic stuff.
Megan R. replied:
Hixson Pediatric Dentistry. Dr Beth Webb. I love her & my kids love her. She won't sedate in office (and they should NOT be sedating kids in the office!!! It's not the safest thing!!).
Megan R. replied:
My kids, all three, had their checkups & cleanings two weeks ago at 1 pm. All 3 were in & out in 25 minutes, including Henry's x rays. Dr Webb has also pulled about 7-8 of Henry's teeth...and filled one cavity & put a crown on for Ian. I don't even allow laughing gas.
Megan R. replied:
I'm personally of the opinion that *no* child, not a single one, should ever be sedated under general anesthesia in a dentist office. If a procedure requires that, it should be done in a hospital that deals with pediatrics. They have the equipment & staff to handle a life threatening emergency. It is apparently very likely the dentist office does not. http://www.aappublications.org/news/2017/07/28/Sedation072817

Corey B. replied:
Like previous poster, we didn't have a postive experience with another local dentist, whom we really liked. We now go to Orange Grove. I truly adore Dr. Kristin at Orange Grove. She is absolutely wonderful. She has many credentials for special needs and is only 1 of a handful of dentists with these special needs credentials in the entire US. We are beyond blessed to have here in Chattanooga. She and Jeanette are at the dental office and are very happy to accomodate any need possible.
Terri M. replied:
We see Dr. Blair with Pediatric Dentistry in Ooltewah; Logan loves it there!
Michelle L. replied:
We go to Hixson Pediatric Dentistry. They are very nice and worked with my 5 yr old who has Autism. I like how they explain to kids what they are doing and if work needs to be done, they explain in detail to parents.

Jamie W. replied:
We went to Hixson Ped Dentistry but they didn’t do such a great job for my ASD kiddo. They just did bare minimum. No X-rays or cleanings and he’s almost 5. They just didn’t put forth the effort to get it done. Dr Vice told me if he needed a cleaning, they would have to admit him in the hospital and do it. We just switched to Dr Sidney Cox in Chattanooga and love him! His staff is great. They got X-rays and a cleaning done on the first visit. He has experience with other SN kids in his practice.
Faith L. replied:
It’s not Hixon, but Sydney Cox is amazing with my autistic son. We’ve been going there for many years now.
