Closing the loop here. None of the folks above were able to help. Everyone seemed to be out or didn't have dry wood. I ended up buying a chord (palette) at Rona on the Plateau. I did get a call recently from these folks saying they would have more wood soon. +1 (819) 457-2935 - I believe the name was Claude.

The challenge with ordering wood from a new supplier is to get reliable, dry wood. I highly recommend Stephen Olmstead(819) 684-2214. Leave a message and schedule the delivery with his daughter. Both are really good people.
Does anyone know if dead trees can be taken down and then used as firewood right away? Or does the wood have to sit a year? Does anyone suggest a tree cutter?
Mike M. replied:
Tree cutters: Leilak Anderson or John Pomeroy.

We have had several trees taken down by Jean (http://www.perfectrees.com). He is professional, reasonably priced and fully insured.
