I've always gone to Walter's Foreign Auto on Brentwood, if you're planning on getting a foreign car that is. Always feel like they treat me right. They explain in as much detail what they find as you like, won't do anything extra without consulting you and are upfront about their costs. Never had a final price be much over the estimate they gave me. That would be a drive from Chesterfield, but yeah, there ya go.

I've used Complete Auto Repair (on Manchester@Baxter, in Ballwin). It's run by a Russian fellow, Joseph, who has always been honest and straightforward with me. He might come across as a bit brusk, but I have never had any misgivings about him or his shop. He does motorcycle inspections also, fwiw.
