IMO most gyms that are good for elite fighters are good for beginners too. My buddy fought one of the twins that runs this gym linked below. His name is Joe Rachatta and his muay thai is strong. Another buddy trained there for a while and said he got alot of attention. Supposedly they have a good relationship with Max Muay Thai so they're trying to get lots of fighters on those cards. I've never trained in Thailand and I'm trying to figure it out myself, so take it with a grain of salt. http://muaythaigymhongthong.com/the-team-at-the-hongthong-muaythai-gym/

I've trained at Hongthong Muay Thai a few months back (for 1 month) and I had a blast training there. Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned fighter, they cater to all kinds of levels. The trainers there will give you the time and effort; plus the atmosphere is just simply amazing! Just an FYI they just move to a new and better location (new facilities, etc) and they already have members training there. So please check them out, you will not be disappointed!

You're down the road and around the corner from w.Santai and SKP Muay Thai, both of which I'd recommend for a beginner. There will be less westerners and more Thai kids training at SKP whereas Santai there will be more westerners. Both will teach you solid foundational technique. Santai has more of a reputation but the guys that run SKP all used to be trainers at Santai. Here's a link to SKP's Facebook because they seem somewhat unknown online: https://www.facebook.com/SKPMuayThai/ I'm sure you can find all the info about Santai you want online with google

Hongthong Gym, who many are recommending, and which I recommend as well, probably just got a whole lot better. They [just moved to a whole new location](https://www.facebook.com/sylviemuaythai/videos/1666096963424427/) < there's a map link in the video comments, with two rings, a big wide space, lots of apartments. It should be really good.

TM Muscle Gym near the train station is 90 baht a day or 1000 a month. I checked out Rati Lanna Hotel, it was really nice but 400 baht for a day pass or 3500 a month.
