Kbeauty in Australia Hey loves, sorry if there is already a thread for this! Does anyone know a place to buy kbeauty (makeup AND skincare) in Australia? Or, more...

Hi gromna! In general you'll get better prices if you're not in a hurry and willing to order online from South Korea directly - they do deliver to Australia. The big ones are [Jolse](https://jolse.com/) (free shipping) and [RoseRoseshop](https://www.roseroseshop.com/) (not free shipping but very cheap prices and can sometimes work out better if you are ordering a few items). It does take weeks to arrive though. There are also many local sellers on eBay (pick a reputable one) and bigger ones like [Lila beauty](https://lilabeauty.com.au/) (who also have a store on eBay). Sorry, I wouldn't know about physical stores.

I live in Geelong (moved here from Tasmania last year - soooo happy to have such easy access to Melbourne now, an hour by train!) and the physical stores I've seen in Melb are Innisfree (Melbourne Central), Merry Seasons, Daiso, So Good, The Face Shop, M Plaza and Hello Day. Can't remember all the streets they are on but they're all in the main cbd, just google for directions. There's also a few little ones here and there, down some arcades in China town but I never remember the names of those. Quite a lot have "no photos" policy. Honestly, all of it aside from innisfree (since it's a whole official store of the brand) is very over priced/marked up, it's much cheaper to buy online direct from Korea.

[stylekorean](https://stylekorean.com) is a korean site that ships to Australia. [nudieglow](https://nudieglow.com) and [kbeauty](https://kbeautyaustralia.com.au) are both Australian sites that carries a lot of korean beauty brands. [yesstyle](https://yesstyle.com) is an international site that carries many korean beauty brands and has free shipping for orders over $52 AUD. Sephora is also starting to carry korean brands like Laneige and 3CE, prices are higher than Korea however good for when you want to see the products in person and do colour swatches.

For physical stores there’s mplaza on swanston near melb central, and w cosmetics (more Japanese products though) in emporium. Both are higher priced than if ordering from online though if you factor in wait times and shipping it might be comparable. There’s also a few dotted around Chinatown mainly in the arcade next to mid city arcade. Hope that helps! There are also innisfree and the face shop as well if you’re interested in those brands.

Another physical store is koconut in box hill, they have a small selection of good quality products, and there are innisfree stores at Doncaster Westfield, chadstone, Melbourne central.

I'm guessing you'd need to run your sample through a gc/ms to get accurate separation/structural determination. Most of the typically utilized testing strips do not have the sensitivity to detect specific chemical entities. This is probably a bit more complicated than you are suggesting...
