Any recommendations for an upholsterer that won't break the bank? Bonus if they make house calls.

Not BC Liquor. Not Legacy. Not Darbys. Not Brewery Creek. Not Village Wine. Lame how many private stores don't have a searchable inventory. RIP. Their CabSav is here: http://www.everythingwine.ca/catalogsearch/result/?q=canoe+ridge Their Chard is here: http://www.liquordirect.ca/Search.aspx?k=canoe+ridge Next.
SaloonLeaguer replied:
FYI the BCL website has a searchable database. They also have a phone app and you can scan any bottle you really like and if they have it then you can save it in your favourites for next time you're shopping. Anyway, if you really like it you can contact the winery and ask who their BC distributor is. Then contact them and ask where it's available for purchase. If that doesn't work, [you can special order from BCL.](http://www.bcliquorstores.com/special-orders) Their minimum order is 1 case but the supplier may have a larger minimum order.

Check the website for availability. It may be a special order item that you need to purchase by the case.
Looking for upholsterer recommendations - thank you

http://www.victorupholstering.com/gallery-of-our-work Did our chairs. He did a lovely job, it was fast and his prices were the same if not better than the other two places that I checked with. And faster timing. I bought my own fabric (he told me how much he'd need) but he has fabric there too. Plus he's very local and super nice.
In search of good reasonably priced upholsterer. Need cushions for a chair and sofa made if possible. TIA for any recommendations!

Victor Upholstery on Montrose!! I had four chair seats redone there after calling around/emailing picts to get quotes. He was the cheapest, and ended up being the quickest too. My chairs turned out beautifully and are still going strong several years later. His shop is kind of a mess, but don't let that deter you! http://www.victorupholstering.com/

Goldie to me, it's this: http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Giardiniera ("jard-in-err") in Chicago, you can get it on pizza and buy it everywhere.... tougher to find here. Old brick house deli makes their own but sells a different brand in jars

Unless you have records of provenance you are out of luck. Just drink it and enjoy yourself.
NZwinebuyer replied:
There are actually a number of consignors who list conditions at POS (passive cellar, torn labels, low shoulder, etc). I would contact someone from an online auction site and be open and upfront about how you came across the bottles. You might be surprised at the answer. Certainly with a shot.
reddithenry replied:
You'll be lucky to even get half the listed price for them. No provenance (e.g. guarantees they arent fake), unclear storage conditions.... Honestly, drink and enjoy. Selling fine/rare/etc wine is something best left to people who intended that when they bought the wine. You'll be expected to show paperwork covering its creation through to delivery, warehousing conditioning, etc. In the UK, where much of the world's fine wine runs through, there are professional 'in bond' warehouses which massively reduce the risk of improper storage and fraud. So yu'll end up competing with those kind of professional investors.

What are the wines? It’ll be hard without records, but even without it, there are some wines that a collector would be willing to gamble on, if websites say it’s worth 450 you won’t get that but you could get a nice fraction of that
