If the dryer has some sort of dry sense function, that could be the culprit. If your model has that, its a sensor that sits next to the lint collecter and if anything remotely dry touches it, it'll cut the dry time short or completely stop the cycle. Its an energy saving device. You can either turn off energy saving option or wipe that sensor clean or replace. Hope that helps.

Probably the drive motor tripping the breaker. Drive motors run about $200

oh geez you might be SOL. So, I posted on here a while back looking for a repairman for my Camera only to discover that this niche for an Electronics expert/repair has yet to be filled in chico... lucky for this town I'm pursuing my electronics engineering degree. I'll be able to whip that LG bad boy into shape in maybe a decade or so? haha... but seriously you might wanna try Sacramento. :) good luck
