Hi all does anyone know of a chiropractor that bulk bills in town? Im in desprate need of one as ive put my back out.
Diahann L. replied:
Hi Jason, to get a chiro under bulk billing you have to usually get a referral from your GP under the E. P.C. (enhanced primary care)scheme,to make you eligible for "free care"..When I worked alongside chiros in Brisbane, it used to be 5 services per year but that was in 2013,it may have changed since then. http://www.health.gov.au/internet/main/publishing.nsf/Content/health-medicare-allied-health-brochure.htm please follow the link for other service under the EPC scheme you may be able to use

At Ian Rock Chiropractic they use all four available methods of manipulation/treatment. It's the only place I have ever seen all four methods offered. I am not sure of the proper technical terms. Ian uses the original pulling method Kerry uses the muscular and nerve sensation method (mostly used for babies and small children) Jane using the modern twisting method as well as the drop table method. Our family uses all four. My mum and sister love Ian's original method. I have been to Ian and feel great but I am very partial to Jane's style. Both my children have seen Kerry for their post birth checkups - Kerry successfully cured/treated my daughters twisted bowel at 8weeks old. I will be lost without them if they ever retire!

Just wondering, is there any chance any of the chemist do after hour emergency? I've had a horrible migraine for far too long now and panadole and nurofen are no longer...
Lisa S. replied:
Chinchilla Hospital should have helped you. Very disappointing and scary. I hope you are better really soon. Migraines are dreadful.
Trina L. replied:
There is ALWAYS a doctor available at Chinchilla Hospital. If you go there you will be assessed and the doctor contacted and you will receive treatment and medications as required
Felicity C. replied:
There is 24 hour a day, 7 days a week doctor coverage at the Chinchilla Hospital. You need to present to the hospital (a phonecall will not suffice) and be triaged by the RN who may discuss your presentation with the on-call doctor. Depending on your signs and symptoms, you may or may not require a doctor review and / or medications and / or admission. The rest of Chinchilla, please stop discussing whether a doctor is available or not. There is always 24 hr coverage for emergency care. Anybody is welcome to access this service.
