I would highly recommend Laurinda McInnes(027 498 9888) - she is my midwife currently (just had baby 4 weeks ago). She was amazing both during pregnancy, during labour/birth and in these first few weeks after baby has arrived. She is super knowledgable and very caring and supportive. She's based in the Longhurst Health building, in the ultrasound offices (also very handy when you need to have ultrasounds as right there!).

Raewyn Bushby is my new one & she's amazing! I'd say keep clear of quality care midwives as I've never heard any good stories & my first was from there & was awful.

Hi all, a couple of questions have come in... hoping you all can help.
1. Someone is looking for recommendations on a pregnancy test that gives the earliest result
2....
Sonya W. replied:
Liz at Merivale Midwifes amazing lady
Sarah W. replied:
1 st response gave me a result before my period was due. Around 4 days before it was due. I had Anne Atkins for my last midwife. Loved her. We had some great laughs and she successfully helped me have a VBAC.
Does anyone know of any good local midwives other than Halswell Midwives? Preferably in Halswell or Hornby, Local mum to be is looking around so if you can help/recomend...
Julie M. replied:
Jacqui Newell or Katherine Kinsman who work at Pregnancy Matters in Barrington, takes about the same time to get to their clinic as it does to one in Hornby. I've had Jacqui for 4 of my children and highly recommend her
Hi there, I'm looking for someone to help me with some jobs at home. Basic cleaning really. Dusting, vacuum, bathroom, toilet, floor mopping, windows and sills inside...
I need a midwife so if ya know any good ones then please let me know. Thanks :)
Casey B. replied:
Depending on where u wana birth sandy, Rana Kamo is awesome or someone from her team, there clientele is most Pacific Islanders and Maori, if you look up midwifery partners ull get her contact number or her other team members, they r really cool and they are based at burwood..really family orientated and laid back unlike women's. Hope this helps. And congrats by the way, number three ur game girl! Lol
