I really like Everyday Athletes and their trainers. I had no experience in lifting, and with once a week sessions with my trainer and the open gym/classes they have there, I feel confident to create and track my own basic compound lift routines. i now go there a few days a week. Their class schedule is simple and effective. They have a great facility with plenty of equipment so you aren't waiting. Most of all everyone is great; the owners, the gym staff, the other patrons. I will add to everyday athletes but also would like to recommend two trainers at the Jewish Community Center. I train athletes personally near JCC so i like to make the short drive to do my own lifting. Their two guys Sylvester (Sly) and Ryan are great. I regularly talk to them about their training and have actually been able to watch a few of their clients progress. I don't believe you have to be a member to train with them, and there is a contact number at Jewishlouisville.org
