Carabello Coffee (and some other coffee shops/cafes) are within a couple blocks of Arcadian Comics & Games on Monmouth Street in Newport, KY. This has the advantage of getting you across the river (a traffic choke point) well before you're in a rush to get to the airport.

Airport lounge is going to be your best bet or Starbucks. There's a comic shop in Sharonville, which is close to Blue Ash and the Indian Restaurant next door to it is a good spot for lunch.
