Local? I love Lisa yang. They have two midwives in their office too (associates in OB gyn)-- Jackie and jess. They are awesome. If you're pregnant, come on down to good Sam.. Plenty of good ones. Sam OB has a bunch (Dr choi), or premier has Fischer and davidson-- both amazing. *if you're pregnant, PM me and I can give you the scoop.

I had a bad experience with Badawi at Group Health. She sent me home in full labor. I returned later in the day, had my daughter in 45 minutes after arriving at the hospital....I delivered her natural on an operating table. I was supposed to be a repeat c-section.

Dr. Hoffman specializes in the fertility side of endocrinology. IVF and such. Ellie thinks that she has an adrenal problem as well. She wants me to ask who you see for that? She basically has ovarian failure and is entered menopause early, 34 ish. So she can't produce the eggs but she still has an incubator.

Dr. Glen Hofmann was our fertility doc for the gestational carrier IVF. He's awesome and Scott's mom works for him. I'll ask her about high-risk OB/GYNs since she also used to work Labor & Delivery at Christ. I went to Dr. Stamler and he was great through everything (at Seven Hills.) I'll let you know what my MIL says.

From my MIL: "Yes. I think the name of the group is tri-state maternal fetal medicine and the deliver any good Sam. The whole group is good but make sure its the one with Dr. Kim Brady in it. I have only heard good things about that group."

I highly recommend Dr Kellie Flood Shaffer at UC. She is at the West Chester Hospital office on Thursdays (though it may be difficult to get in with her). I have to deliver at UC b/c of other health risks I have and my neurosurgeon is there. But it's a great hospital (Esp. For high risk) AND my mom now works in the mom and baby unit!

We are currently seeing Dr Hoffman, Endocrinologist, out of Bethesda North. Over the last four years of "trying" and failing over and over and over agian, I feel like I know way more about a woman's body than I ever wanted to. We finally have real hope on the horizon. If and when may actaully arrive. It won't be the traditional way, but that is okay with me.
