(Asking for a friend) does anyone know of any restaurants nearby Disneyland that are reasonable that can accommodate a party of 28 (including kids), family reunion is...

I guess it depends what you mean by reasonable. I'm afraid that most restaurants in that area are going to be pricey. When is this for? There's always Rainforeset Cafe in DTD, but they are expensive! Let me check.

Buca di Beppo, 2.1 miles from Disneyland 11757 Harbor Blvd, Garden Grove, (714) 740-2822 You'll feel like you're visiting your loud Italian relatives, in a good way. A friend of my husband's who grew up in Italy says this is his favorite Italian restaurant! I love how the hostess leads you to your table through the kitchen, as if it's your own restaurant (there's even a table IN the kitchen) and all the dishes are family-style. There are crazy old-fashioned photos all over the walls and lots of large parties celebrating things. Our son gets the kids' spaghetti that's served in a bowl bigger than his head, it's a riot. I recommend the eggplant parmesan, fettucini alfredo and a carafe of house red. Tons of fun. Joe's Crab Shack, 1.9 miles from Disneyland 12011 Harbor Blvd, Garden Grove, (714) 703-0505 It's fun and casual-- you're picking crab over newspapers. It's on the rowdy side (sometimes the servers form a line and dance) but also friendly, reasonably priced, and there's even outdoor seating with a play area for little ones. As the name implies, it's mainly seafood, although you can get a steak, burger or chicken sandwich too. But go for the coconut shrimp! Mimi's Cafe, Less than a mile from Disneyland 1400 South Harbor Blvd., Anaheim, (714) 956-2223 Another chain that knows what it's doing. The atmosphere is country-cottage-meets Mardi-Gras. It reminds me of Marie Calendar's but livelier. Of all my favorite restaurants near Disneyland, this is the closest. Everyone will find something they like on the menu, from your toddler to your great grandmother-- a whole section of the menu is called "Comfort Classics", and they also have scaled-down versions of things for those of you who don't always want to supersize it. At lunch they bring a basket of a variety of warm breads and muffins that's a meal in itself. I like their Turkey Walnut Salad on Raisin Bread. Chunky and not too mayonnaisey. Some of their stuff is so good they post the recipes on their website, since people keep asking the waitstaff for it. Alcatraz Brewing Company, 2.9 miles from Disneyland 20 City Blvd. W., Orange, CA 92868, 714-939-8686 This is an actual brewery so you should probably enjoy beer and sports. But my favorite part of breweries is really the food, when it's good. Those of you familiar with Gordon Biersch know what I mean. So Alcatraz is like that: a variety of upscale burgers, pizzas, salads, and sandwiches, as well as more substantial fare like filet mignon and grilled salmon. I don't recall a kids' menu and it's not really that kind of place. But your teens will probably like it. The dark-ale smoked BBQ pulled-pork sandwich with seasoned fries tastes as good as it sounds.
Looking for great Chinese food. Looking for awesome Chinese restaurants. I live in the Citrus Heights area nearish to Orangevale. Really enjoy Hop Sing Palace in Folsom,...

New Canton on Broadway. An old family favorite for this white girl. But even some Chinese friends said to me one day, "You like that place? It's just... So Chinese." Great dim sum too.

I have always been a fan of Wonderful Chinese at Sylvan Rd and Old Auburn Blvd, actually pretty good location for your general area as well. Great lunch and dinner deals.

Best known place Changs on Natomas Blvd. and Del paso rd in North natomas https://plus.google.com/101290344636602925057/about?gl=us&hl=en#101290344636602925057/about?gl=us&hl=en Incredible quality, always super hot and fresh, fast, huge portions, never had a single complaint. One togo dinner plate I can spread into two meals or split between two. I go for the sweet and sour chicken plate with chow mein and fried lie.

If you are looking for excellent Dim Sum, I highly recommend KINGS out in west sac. Prices are great and they give you so much food. They, apparently, were the first place to serve Dim Sum in Sacramento in the 80's.

Seriously bring those tits to Beijing gourmet. I've eaten at almost every chinese place in the area and they are hands down the best. If you're into teriyaki I would suggest I

Can I say this without too much flack? I can't think of any good Chinese restaurants out near Orangevale because there aren't too many Chinese people who live out there. Pretty much everything out there is for non-chinese people. You've got to come down to at least Broadway to START hitting the good Chinese restaurants.

Definitely check out Silver Dragon on the corner of Madison and Sunrise. Great food and the prices are pretty cheap as well.

Are you looking for actual Chinese or Americanized Chinese. Since you said hop sing I assume it's the latter and not the former. Lotus8 is pretty good, it used to be called yummy kitchen. Though honestly, none of the Chinese restaurants in Folsom ever blew me away, they're all decent, I wouldn't really be able to recommend one over the others. Though I really dislike hop sing.

CF Cheng (not to be confused with PF Chang's) in Natomas. The chef is apparently a celebrated chef from Hong Kong that decided to move here for his family, got bored and opened a little 10 table spot. Owner is super duper friendly. Food is apparently incredibly authentic. Even the white-ified stuff is amazing.

A little out of your way, but I frequent Beijing Gourmet off of Antelope / I-80. Good food and decent prices. Surprised they are still around since the two major retail stores in the shopping center have long been closed, but I guess the food speaks for itself!

Pearl House at Greenback and Auburn. Been there for years (like me being a toddler years). They are consistently good, and my normal go-to. Their general chicken is deep fried and a touch spicy (different from most places). Wonderful is good, but not as good as it used to be. Beijing Gourmet is ok. edit: I can't really recommend any place in Rancho, and I think I tried most of them. None were outstanding, and a few were sub-par at best.

I'm late to this thread and didn't read all the way through, but the Golden Dragon (both locations) is FABULOUS.
Well, I just got home from my third trip to one of the best Mexican restaurants I've ever ate at. It is located in the old El Torrito location on Sunrise blvd. It is...
