Call Royal Tree....you won't need anyone else. THey have removed two huge oak trees from my property on two different occasions. They were half the price of anyone else we called and they did a great job and great clean up.

How about A-1 Tree Service? Are their prices similar to the others recommended here? We used them once before quite a few years ago, but didn't bother getting estimates from other companies at the time, so I am not sure if we got the best price. I am looking for the cheapest one because it is a really really big tree, and I am afraid it is going to cost a fortune to have cut down. Does anyone know what the average going rate is?

I think the first 10-15 feet is considered township property. A few years back, I had a very large branch break very high in a tree by the sidewalk. I called Clark DPW, they came the next business day to cut it down.
