Bay Court and Clintonwood are available until 10 pm.....you cook or have it catered, no alcohol, $30 or $35 per hour depending on what township you live in. We had some seriously good food catered in yesterday from Pita Way!
Amy L. replied:
Bay Court and Clintonwood options are both indoors!
Rhonda S. replied:
Independence Oaks has an indoor rental I think. Lovely park on a pretty lake.
Tracy J. replied:
Bay Court and Clintonwood Carriage House are both really inexpensive and nice if you want to bring your own food. They have a kitchen attached, and if kids are coming they can play on the playground.

Golden Buffet (Chinese) restaurant on Dixie across from Waterfall has a room and it doesn't charge for using it. We had my dad's 90 th birthday party there and they were helpful. You have to get your food there (buffet and all you can eat) but it's never more than $10 each and usually cheaper. They also have pizza and a few other dishes that aren't Chinese on their buffet and it all includes a dessert and salad buffet.
Joseph S. replied:
Not sure Holly Hotel would be inexpensive as she requested Matt Schulman. Nice place though
Hi!! I'm wondering if anyone can recommend a restaurant/bar that would have a separate room to host about 40 people? Thanks!!
Angie S. replied:
Buck Shots has a private room... they have pretty good food. Or the Fountains has a "room" in the bar area that you can reserve. The Lakes has good food and a private room... Andiamos in Clarkston, too!

Chartreuse Kitchen & Cocktails is excellent! It is on the corner of Kirby and Woodward, right next to the DIA. The chef there is Douglas Hewitt, who just collaborated with chefs James Rigato (The Root, Mabel Gray) and Andy Holladay (Selden Standard ) at a dinner I went to. There is free parking in the garage next door with validation from Chartreuse. Cost is $$ (moderate ), the food is first class! Check out their fb page

Haha, yes, as Rachel Jessee-Jones refers to her husband a 'beer snob', mine too would recommend Uptown Grille:) we love the Union BUT it's extremely loud for the space you'd have...even though they do have that great mile long beer and wine list
I'm somewhat new to Clarkston and am looking for local restaurants! Obviously The Union and Union Woodshop but I can't decide which one sounds better lol
