Five the Beach do amazing soup. Mon Plaisir is nice but often menu is all very rich and full of cream so have stopped going there. Also not sure what it would be like with a big group as think it is all little alcoves. Think we have established I just like eating - will go away and let you make a decision now Sue! Every Indian Pete uses the same basic sauce then the variations are added for slight difference in flavours, ie, garlic, ginger, chillies, coconut, coriander etc.. Buy this book from Amazon market place cost you about £2 including postage will explain everything and you'll be surprised at how easy it is to cook your own...
