I need a recommendation for a tax accountant. I have previously done my own taxes, but now they are getting more complicated. Anyone know someone they can recommend?

Christina, I asked the same thing on here about six months ago and Louis Thomas was recommended. I met with him (he lives in Bay, which is a plus) and he's gotten all of my taxes in order, both personal and for my small business. Highly recommended!

I [was looking for one](http://www.reddit.com/r/Cleveland/comments/rpl1 z/anyone_know_of_a_good_small_business_accountant/) a bit ago too, lots of good suggestions. Though, my wife ended up picking someone that wasn't on the list.

[Gerst Tax Service](http://gersttaxservices.com/) (North Olmsted) They're the only tax service I've ever used (beyond doing it myself). So, I can't compare to others. But, I feel their fees are very reasonable and I have no complaints about their service. Also, this or a similar question gets posted every year. If you search old posts, I'm sure you can find additional referrals.

That's not too complex. If you don't want to do it completely on your own, Turbotax will likely suffice. It's when you get into owning your own business taking partner distributions, itemizing expenses related to your business, trust payments, divorce, to name a few things, where you need to talk to a CPA.

Gotcha Jane. Thank you. Oddly the offer was from a realtor who invests who should have known I had a mortgage. Thanks for your help though. Your answer made total sense. Tell Joey thanks too.
