Looking for a 'hip' barbershop. Hi all,
Anyone have any recommendations for a hip barbershop around town? Looking for a place that can do modern styles, undercuts and...

Eddy's Barbershop on Coventry. I go there and get a slight fade and have seen people there getting far hipper cuts than me, as well. I always see Ryan there. [Also, the guy who runs it is Johnny Manziel's personal barber, so that is something.](http://www.cleveland.com/entertainment/index.ssf/2014/11/meet_chuck_falk_clevelands_go-.html)

I've been going to West Park Barber Shop lately. They seem to know what they're doing. $12 for a haircut, not awful. http://www.westparkbarbershop.com/

I am constantly doing some new modern style cut (undercuts, fades, etc.). I have a close friend who does my hair currently. However, I know she might not cut anymore if she has a kid. I plan on going to Crazy Mullets if that happens. I have quite a few friends who have modern cuts, and they always do an excellent job. I would not even consider another place.

Frank's Chop Shop. They are located in downtown Cleveland at the 668 building next to Titan's gym. One of the most legit barbershops in town. They have a location in NYC and here. Check them out.

Barber shop recommendations The title says it all. I'm looking for a great barber shop, rather than just a hair dresser. Bonus if it's on the West side, and if they do...

Barber Shop Rock on Madison in Lakewood. I had the same problem, til I found them. Cool vibes in that place, they do great work. (not sure if they do a hot shave or not, though). I've had 4 different people do my hair and have been happy

The Irish Barber in Rocky River! I'm a regular, that place is great. Plus, who doesn't want to drink a Guinness while you wait (which you won't have to for long)?

Cuts are only **$4** and I've gone there since I was a little kid and it's almost always a great experience. As the name implies it's a hair cutting school so you won't always get an advanced student cutting your hair but again it's only $4. I would say out of all the times that I've been there in the past 10-15 years I've had one questionable cut. I always meet interesting people when I go there and I always walk out laughing. They offer traditional hot towel shaves for about $5 and the shaving is free on Tuesday's. Because it's so cheap you get a lot of lower-income types in there and it can be a little sketchy but I've never felt unsafe or anything in there. Go on a Tuesday and for 4 bucks you can get a hot towel shave and a cut plus be a part of all the barber shop banter that goes down on a daily basis. Plus it's right next to the Great Lakes Brewery and the West Side Market so you can grab lunch and a few groceries after too.

Hey brothu, I will be out of town due to prior commitment. I wish you and your faithful spouse the best! As for the hair cut, my plug is for Asu "Mookie" Robinson, at Diamond Cutz on St. Clair. He's one of the best in the city! My hair style is by choice and genetics so don't think Mook had nothing to do with that. lol
