Walton Firs at Cobham is another one to add to your list. http://www.waltonfirs.co.uk/ If you want one close to home there is always Paddicks Patch in Earley: http://www.loddondistrict.org.uk/24.html

Paccar at Chalfont Heights. http://www.paccarscoutcamp.org/
A great site local to you is Dorney Wood at Gerrards Cross. I went there a couple of times when I was helping with the 93 rd Reading. It has the best campfirte circle that I have ever performed in.

Quarries at Milton Keynes is good too!

Bentley Copse in Shere Surrey. Probably about 90 minutes from you but great.
Anthony W. replied:
Well, Bentley Copse is just about within an hour, depending on exactly where abouts you are, and that's a good one
Depends if you want something simple or with lots of activities, Braid Wood, just outside Chesham Bucks is simple but lots of beautiful countryside and within walking distance of Chesham, Phasels Wood near Hemel has lots of activities and facilities. Paccar at Chalfont Heights is good too.
