Try The Old Dairy Farm in Furners Green (past Danehill, before Trading Boundaries). Dogs on leads allowed, and campfires too. It's a very small site, with lots of space, on a working farm off and away from the main road, down Sliders Lane. Fab little honesty shop and owners Sharon Barnard and Trevor are lovely too. Oh - and Bluebell Vineyard opposite, should you get thirsty! http://www.ukcampsite.co.uk/sites/details.asp?revid=14024

My husband and kids have just been to Kitts in Scaynes Hill (about 20 min drive away)It's rated one of the top campsites in the UK. They had a fab time. You can either bring your own tent or pay extra for one to be put up for you. See link attached: http://kittscamp.co.uk/home-firle-campsite-sussex-2-4/

My wife and I went to the 'Secret' campsite back in June. We camp relatively regularly, and I think this was the best campsite we've been to. Tim is massively helpful and enthusiastic about making sure you have a great stay. http://www.thesecretcampsite.co.uk/
