As someone mentioned above: Standish Humane Society's website has many options including info on the SpayWaggin' (at the shelter August 26), the STOP clinic, and also low cost vouchers for many area veterinarians. If you call 781-834-4663 there is a prompt for Spay/Neuter information.

Animal Rescue League of Boston's Spay Waggin. $75 will get him a vet exam, neutered, rabies & FVRCP vaccines, nail trim & flea treatment. Email spaywaggin@arlboston to make an appointment. I've been working there for 11 years so I can vouch for the vets' skills & professionalism of the staff.
Hi from a Scituate resident!
Looking to get some ideas on best animal clinics/favorite veterinarians in the surrounding towns? We have a wonderful two-year-old cat from...

I take my cat to VCA Roberts in Hanover. I've never been disappointed! All the drs. are awesome and I especially like that they are open 7 days a week... if your animal has any kind of an emergency, they will see your pet right away.

I'm entirely biased as I work at Old Derby Animal Hospital in Hingham, but ODAH is fantastic with my dogs. They absolutely looooove their vets (We rotate between Dr. Butler and Dr. Kimball) and the staff (if I may say so myself) is fantastic!

VCA in Weymouth is tremendous. They are equipped with specialists that are prepared to take care of any problem that arises. I also have gone to other places in the area and discovered the VCA when my local vet would be gone and their on call vet was the VCA. Also, the local vet in the area wasn't equipped with up to date equipment, so many times they'd send me to the VCA for specialized tests. I have had pets my whole life and ten years ago switched to VCA, best decision I have ever made. I love the staff and the excellent care they provide. My vetenarian's name is Dr Politano. She is great but they have a large staff of wonderful doctors. My three Dalmatians love it there.
