Blue Cross at Broadview and Danforth has a few loyal clients among my friends. So far I've heard no complaints.

My girlfriend and I went with Warden 401 Animal Hospital for our puppy. They are open 7 days a week, which works perfectly for us and when we called around for her first 3-month's booster shots they were by far the cheapest. We live by Jane and Lawrence, so it's a trek for us, but it saves us money and the vets have been really nice.

Crazily enough, yelp reviews vets these days. See if anything listed here helps you out. http://www.yelp.ca/c/toronto/vet

Queen and Roncesvalles' [Roncesvalles Animal Hospital](http://roncesvallesanimalhospital.com/). Dr. S is awesome, talks a lot but he'll never gouge you. edit: formatting

I started going to [Bickford Park](http://www.bickfordvet.com/) animal hospital about a year ago when it opened. In that time I've brought my dog in for routine vaccinations/check up, to remove a lump on his paw and after a seizure scare. I have come to really trust this vet. She seems very knowledgeable and it never feel like she is upselling or suggesting unnecessary treatments. I could go on about her but basically she seems to really care about your pet's well being while at the same time never leaving you like you're getting ripped off or manipulated.
It is a new business that the vet opened up on her own after practicing for years at a vet office in the east end. It's at Bloor and Christie and she has parking spots at the back.

When I lived downtown, I took my dog to the Downtown Animal Hospital. It's located on Church Street, just south of Bloor.

I took my cat to Village Gate Animal Hospital near St Clair and Bathurst, Dr. Geoff Toole. He came recommended from several people. The place was great, despite their website looking like something from 1998. http://villagegateanimalhospital.ca/

I take my cat to Wellesley Animal Hospital (at Wellesley and Yonge) and I highly recommend them. She has gone for checkups there (and even surgery) and they never pushed for unnecessary tests and it's reasonably priced. The vets and receptionists are all lovely as well.

When my gf and I first got out puppy we took them to Bloor West Village Animal, but the doctors there seemed outraged that we wanted to feed the dog a raw food diet and basically told us we were terrible for doing so. They can't make profit selling overpriced kibble if the dog is eating chicken backs and turkey necks, which are much better for the dog if you balance the diet properly. So we switched over to [Dundas West Animal Hospital](http://dundaswestvets.com/) that supported it fully.

We've been using Blue Cross animal hospital at Danforth and Broadview for our pets. It's not really downtown, but they're very good. We had one of our cats euthanized there and it went about as well as could be expected; they were incredibly understanding and professional at the same time. We always recommend them to anyone looking for a vet. Ours is Dr. Jeff Grams; he's really good.

I take my cat to the Blue Cross Animal Hospital on Danforth. The staff is friendly and it's easy to get an appointment. I've got no complaints.
Hey, OBG fans! Can anyone recommend a vet in the Colesville, MD area for a fellow fan?

Sounds like lots of better ideas already, but I've had good luck with College Park Animal Hospital (right at Rt 1 & the beltway) https://www.facebook.com/CollegeParkAnimalHospitalCollege Park Animal Hospital Hospital/Clinic Hospital/Clinic: 135 like this.

Marymount vet on Randolph road (before intersection at New Hampshire ave). We've used them for many animals and have recommended them to friends who also like them.

Briggs Chaney Animal Hosp. - Dr. Robbins. Just off Rt. 29 and Briggs Chaney Rd. Very nice, knowledgable, compassionate. When we lived in Calverton we took our kids there. Really liked her.

I know it might be a little far (about 20 mins from Colesville) but Quince Orchard Veterinary Hospital is great. Ask for either Dr. Felrice or Dr. Aspaugh but all the vets are great there!

Marymont Animal Hospital is on Randolph Road just shy of New Hampshire Avenue. If interested in a holistic vet, Dr. Jennifer Ramelmeier.

Faircland Animal Hospital.. Been using them since 1986.
