Janet I had a Samsung front loader and dryer. They were the worst. They were repaired several times and each time the repairman came it got worse. (I had different repairmen each time)They were only a year old. Problem is, I think they are made in Korea and they are really hard to fix. We had to get rid of them after Lowes replaced the units 3 x. Thank God Lowes has excellent customer service. When I was ordering new machines there were 2 different families complaining about their Samsung machines. Sofia had the same issues and had to replace hers too. Good luck!!! Let me know how it goes.

I have Kenmore Elite front loader washer/dryer. They work well and I don't remember ever having a problem with either one. I'd rather not say how old they are, they're in the next room and I don't want them to hear me.:)
