Want to take a cruise for the first time. Do you recommend a travel agent for planning or just using cruise line websites? There is an awful lot of small print. Thanks...

As a travel agent I would definitely recommend using one! I'm home based here in Germantown. Be glad to help you! 901-359-2384

Try cruisecritic.com for all kinds of information before or even after you book. You can even join a roll call for your specific cruise and learn about what others are doing in ports (or just lurk, lol), Great info regarding excursions. Often outside the ship is less $, fewer people, and a better experience. We've taken 15 cruises in past 8 years. It's ideal for extended family gatherings, everyone can do their own thing and meet for a dinner "mom" didn't have to cook!
