I need some new tires. Recommendations where to go here in Colorado Springs?
Joan P. replied:
Discount Tire - get the warranty (it has saved me the cost of several tires)

I really like Tire King they are priced great and have amazing service. Love that they are centrally located, I quite often pick up nails and screws at construction/remodel homes and am always in and out.

I'm looking into getting a personal trainer, but i'm social phobic when it comes to the gym, any recommendations?
MadGidd replied:
Personal trainers are mostly just trying to get your money. You're welcome to join my workout partner and I if you don't mind 5 am workouts.

What are your fitness goals? Just weight loss? Or are you wanting to train for an event or hobby? Personally, I hate sharing equipment so I built a gym in the basement with a power rack setup I found on the COS craigslist for $700. I also use an app called Trainerize. I like it because it tracks everything for you and sends it to your trainer (in my case, my brother), and your trainer can modify your workout plan to meet your fitness goals. And, most exercises have a video with them so you can see how it's done before you try it and potentially hurt yourself or have the local gym hero come bother you.
Hasira replied:
I've never used them so can't make a recommendation, but I've seen this guy driving around. Perhaps worth looking into? http://doortodoorfitness.org/

I have used one who got me incredible results. I was the same way about not wanting to go to a gym, I felt like I would get laughed at. This trainer has an in home studio and she'll whip you into shape! I lost 50 lbs of fat and gained 10 lbs of muscle in about 3 months. I'll pm you some contact info.
