Also, guess a lot of people have X56's lying around with broken buttons or failed internal wiring, might be able to get a broken one for cheap

Don't look too hard to make yourself, just see if you can find piano write in the right diameter and hardness (or, I'd actually prefer it a bit softer, my twist is hard on my wrist while flying for a long time). Might have to use a soldering iron at the 90 degree bends and quench it in oil after bending, but I'd try just bending it first. If you need to heat it, wrap the rest of the spring in wet cloth or something so you don't take out the hardening of the entire spring

I have no doubt there are lot of x56 sticks available for solo purchase. I plan on replacing mine with a better stick and keeping the throttle, seems a lot of x56 owners do the same. I'd check ebay for one, I've seen them available before for $50-75 range. You'd have what you need and a whole set of replacement parts, too. That seems your best course of action if you want to keep it around, but I really would recommend paying a bit more and switching upward if you're going to spend that kind of money. The throttles are preferred and the sticks disliked for good reason. It took a while for mine to develop issues but now that they showed up, they're very significant.

Tried Ebay /aliexpress /bangood? I think that would be the cheapest for just one spring. Else I know there is a company in Ireland or North Ireland that we've used for some custom springs in the past, but I guess having them make one spring for you would be excessively expensive. Think they're named Eurosprings or something
