I use Dr Lavigne at Southeastern Ortho. He is fantastic. Spent a lot of time explaining my issue with me. I used him as a second opinion and so glad I did. Dr. Lee in the same practice is supposed to be great as well.

Depends in what part if the body your needing checked. Strand orthopedic isn't in 82 nd avenue anymore. They're in Carolina Forest. I used coastal orthopedics at Conway hospital for my surgery.

Myrtle, I have to agree with Angela and Nancy. Dr.Presnel at the Moore Clinic in Columbia is the best. He has done both of my knees and I had no problems. One 12 years ago and the other this past March. My therapist came to my house. His name was David and he was wonderful. If you go with Dr. Presnel and need therapy ask for David. He is a good Christian man. Good luck.

Not in Columbia, but I highly recommend Anne Arundel Orthopedic Surgeons. They've got fantastic specialists for every part of the body. I've seen Dr Lynch the most since he did surgery on my knee.

I think the one I took the girl to was Orthopedic associates, on the 3 rd floor, same building as Potomac Valley someone else suggested. I know that PV was also on the list of places the pediatrician recommended.

We saw Dr Michael G Vitale in Bay Ridge. We only had to see him once to get our daughter's hips checked but he and his staff were very nice and thorough.
