Do we have any alumn's who are divorce attorney's? I need an attorney and the one I had left me in a pickle. I am rather weary about the whole prospect here in Lebanon...
Melanie Y. replied:
Scott, I read it the same thing. lol. When I got my divorce from another alumni back in 1983, I went through Fred Berkemer (sp). If I had to do it over again I would have been more assertive. I also talked to Robert Bergman. I forget the other la wyer firm I talked to, but he told me I should try to work it out first. Can't work things out with a one sided marriage though. They were also on the west side of Columbus, on either Sullivant Avenue or Broad Street. Jeff Blankenship (class of 76) worked in their office later, but dont' know if he is still there, or if he is a divorce lawyer.
Who out of our sphere knows a good DIVORCE attorney personally that we could meet with? (we need some more to give us RE short sale referrals) thanks in advance!!

Lynn Grogan or Donna Hix. Hix trumps Grogan as far as I'm concerned.

Ed Berry but he charges for consultation. I wasn't able to find a lawyer that does free consultations.
