[Enlightenment Wines/Honey's](https://www.enlightenmentwines.com/) in Bushwick. Pricey but unlike a lot of meads theirs is actually good.

Nope and most of the workers at the stores dont know what you're talking about when you bring it up

What neighborhood are you in? Most good beer stores worth their weight will have some sort of selection, but because the meaderies are generally smaller, you can't really search their stuff on BeerMenus or those sites as easily. If you're looking for local stuff, I think the only meadery based out of the five boroughs is Honey's in Bushwick, and they're really damn good. If you happen to live in Queens, I'm looking to get rid of some that I made as well, can send me a DM and we can try to make something work.

5 Star Wine and Liquor Outlet in Woodside sells Carrol's Mead which I *think* was the brand carried by the NY Ren Faire for a time, I could be wrong on that though. There are two meaderies that I know of in Brooklyn that I've yet to have the personal pleasure of going to (cuz, y'know, pandemic) but figure they're worth mentioning. You have All-Wise in Greenpoint and Enlightenment Wines in like East Williamsburg. I believe they're both doing pick up orders or delivery in some sort of capacity.

Don’t know of a place in the city—always thought it would be a natural for some Brooklyn hipster business—but the best mead I’ve ever had was from Drake abrothers in Columbus. If there’s time, you can order some bottles: https://www.brothersdrake.com/

Allwise Mead in Greenpoint?

If you have enough lead. Check out Melovino in New Jersey. They recently had free S&H to NYC on orders with 4+ bottles (they're bottles are 350 ml, so half-sized, too). They tend to be on the sweeter end of the spectrum, but they play with some really interesting flavors, and their draft meads in cans are actually a lot better than most of their bottled mead (IMO).

OMG!!! Yes!!! Literally the best mead I have ever had in my entire upper millennial life is made and sold at this place called Honeys - they have a few types and they are addictively delicious. https://yelp.to/qTKq/o8ZCYUacr9 You can also ship it as it’s in Brooklyn.
I am looking for someone who can make custom cushions and slipcovers. Does anyone know an upholsterer in the area?

I have used Begley's Upholstery, and have been happy with their work. The shop is located on High St just south of West North Broadway. http://www.begleyupholstering.com Also, there is Fortner's which is located in Menendian's. Corner of Fifth and Kenny. Both of these businesses have been around a long time.
